THE DIALOGUE OF EARTH AND SKY
Sinvaravatn is drawn to sacred sites as cosmic intermediaries—spaces that connect the celestial with the rhythms of human life. He believes that the alignment between religious structures and stars is no coincidence, but rather a deliberate placement of ancestral identities upon the land they once inhabited. As the first light of the sun rises in the east, the star Spica—known in Thai as Chittra, or the Rice Sheaf Star—simultaneously sets in the west. Between these two celestial bodies stands the prang of Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat in Suphanburi. What appears to be a fleeting astronomical moment is, to him, the universe signaling the beginning of the harvest season.
The artist responds to this cosmic cue with a sandstone sculpture. On one side, he presents a photograph of rice fields during the harvest; on the other, he engraves a poem that evokes ancient memories of stargazing ancestors. The work is installed on the western cloister of the temple prang, forming a bridge between the stars once watched by forebears and the gaze of contemporary visitors.

บทสนทนาของฟ้าดิน
วัชรนนท์สนใจพื้นที่ศาสนสถานในฐานะสื่อกลางของจักรวาลที่เชื่อมโยงเข้ากับวิถีชีวิตของมนุษย์ เขาเชื่อว่าความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างศาสนสถานกับดวงดาวมิใช่เรื่องบังเอิญ หากคือการจัดวางตัวตนของผู้คนในอดีตลงบนแผ่นดินที่เขาดำรงอยู่ เมื่อแสงแรกของดวงอาทิตย์ปรากฏขึ้นทางทิศตะวันออก ในขณะเดียวกันนั้นดาวรวงข้าว (Spica – จิตรา) กำลังลับขอบฟ้าทางทิศตะวันตก โดยมีพระปรางค์วัดพระศรีรัตนมหาธาตุ สุพรรณบุรี ตั้งอยู่ระหว่างดาวฤกษ์ทั้งสองนี้ ปรากฏการณ์ที่ดูเหมือนจะเกิดขึ้นเพียงชั่วขณะ กลับเป็นเวลาที่จักรวาลส่งสัญญาณให้แผ่นดินเริ่มต้นเข้าสู่ฤดูเก็บเกี่ยว
ศิลปินตอบรับสัญญาณของฤดูกาลนั้นด้วยการสร้างประติมากรรมหินทราย ด้านหนึ่งแสดงภาพถ่ายของทุ่งนาในช่วงฤดูเก็บเกี่ยว อีกด้านหนึ่งสลักบทกวีที่แสดงออกถึงความทรงจำเก่าแก่ของการเฝ้ามองดูดวงดาวของบรรพชน ผลงานชิ้นนี้ติดตั้งบริเวณระเบียงคดด้านทิศตะวันตกของพระปรางค์ เพื่อเชื่อมโยงบทสนทนาระหว่างดวงดาวที่บรรพชนเคยเฝ้ามองในอดีตเข้ากับสายตาของผู้มาเยือนในปัจจุบัน
ผลงานชุด "บทสนทนาของฟ้าดิน" ได้ร่วมแสดงในนิทรรศการ "อสญญกาย" จัดแสดงที่วัดพระศรีรัตนมหาธาตุ สุพรรณบุรี (2025)
